I've been in the trenches...
I remember being a working Production Scheduler, using VISUAL™. I know that feeling of not knowing your way around, of trying things and not really knowing how it all fits together. I also remember grasping the few, simple principles that made the schedule very accurate! The good news is that those few principles are easy to learn and pretty easy to roll out.
