After 20+ years in various manufacturing companies, from wood products, to construction materials, to custom marine equipment manufacturing, to OEM engineer-to-order capital equipment--doing jobs from running sanders and molders, to programming CNC machines, to production planning and MRP administration, to cost accounting and billing, to manufacturing engineering, and being a project manager for an ERP implementation on the customer side (plus an MBA)--I understand the need for having an ERP system that gives the whole company an accurate schedule to work from. I have working experience with the Infor VISUAL™ ERP system, on both the customer side, and the consulting side. I understand what the folks on the shop floor need, what the folks in the office need, and what the folks in management need.
If you use the VISUAL™ ERP system, and would like to focus on making full use of the Scheduling and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) functionality of Visual, but are not interested in a wholesale change to your process or an expensive on-site regimen in order to make significant improvement--we could be a good fit.
